# Class DefaultRuntimeIdProvider

OptimaJet.Workflow.Core.Runtime.DefaultRuntimeIdProvider

Provides a default [IRuntimeIdProvider](https://api.workflowengine.io/core/OptimaJet.Workflow.Core.Runtime/IRuntimeIdProvider/) implementation that persists a generated runtime identifier in a file.

## Constructors

`public DefaultRuntimeIdProvider(string path)` 

Creates a new instance backed by the provided file path.

### Parameters

| `path` | `String` | The path of the file used to read and persist the runtime identifier. |

## Methods

`public string GetId()` 

Gets the runtime identifier for initialization.

### Returns

| Type | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `String` | The runtime identifier. |

### Remarks

If the target file exists, the method returns the identifier read from the trimmed file contents. If the target file does not exist, the method generates a new identifier, writes it to the file, and returns it.
