# Class Paging

OptimaJet.Workflow.Core.Persistence.Paging

Specifies a page of results to retrieve from persistence.

## Constructors

`public Paging(int pageIndex, int pageSize)` 

Initializes paging settings for the requested page.

### Parameters

| Name | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `pageIndex` | `Int32` | The 1-based index of the page to retrieve. |
| `pageSize` | `Int32` | The number of results requested per page. |

## Properties

`public int PageIndex { get; set; }` 

Gets or sets the 1-based index of the page to retrieve.

`public int PageSize { get; set; }` 

Gets or sets the number of results requested per page.

## Methods

`public static Paging Create(int pageIndex, int pageSize)` 

Creates a [Paging](https://api.workflowengine.io/core/OptimaJet.Workflow.Core.Persistence/Paging/) configured for the requested page.

### Parameters

| `pageSize` | `Int32` | The number of results requested per page. |

### Returns

`public int SkipCount()` 

Calculates the number of results to skip from [Paging.PageIndex](https://api.workflowengine.io/core/OptimaJet.Workflow.Core.Persistence/Paging/) and [Paging.PageSize](https://api.workflowengine.io/core/OptimaJet.Workflow.Core.Persistence/Paging/).

### Returns

| Type | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `Int32` | The number of results to skip. A [Paging.PageIndex](https://api.workflowengine.io/core/OptimaJet.Workflow.Core.Persistence/Paging/) value less than 1 is treated as the first page. |
